Haiti Relief Efforts

Earthquake Relief Efforts: 
So far we have taken three trips to Les Cayes and filled nine big trucks full of food water and medical supplies. We have funding to provide medical supplies and food for three more trips (9 vehicles full) within the next few weeks. We are waiting on a shipment of medical supplies from one of our US-based partners, Morning Star Fellowship to come in before we make those trips. However, we are expecting to continue relief efforts as funding comes in, as things won’t be going back to normal anytime soon. We will be observant in figuring out what needs are still to be met and how we can best reach areas that have not been getting all that they need. In the future, As we see that food and shelter are becoming more easily accessible we will shift our help into trying to provide supplies for rebuilding.

Fill Their Bellies Program:
As we come to the end of our summer season, with just 1 more week to go, we are so grateful to have been able to provide for more kids than ever. Each program day we had 85 to 100 kids and one maxed out day with 121!! (Plus all our workers in our yard). We are beyond grateful for all who have helped support this program as it has been a highlight of our summer and has touched the lives of so many children and families here in our neighborhood! We have heard endless thank youse from moms, dads, and grandparents and they hope that we continue! Our prayer is that we can reach even more kids in the upcoming year and that even more of you will come alongside us to partner in this vital program!

Truck for Haiti Projects

A reliable vehicle to meet the needs of our growing operation is essential for our team in Haiti to be effective. In our most recent trip with supplies to the earthquake region, our existing vehicle was hit by another car and was totaled. Thankfully none of our team was hurt but we are now left without a vehicle.

Fill Their Bellies Program Costs

The Haiti-Amoveo Fill their Bellies program is run by volunteers but requires utensils, plates, glasses, gas for the stoves, and kitchen and cooking utensils in order to operate. For every meal we provide for100 kids, we need $250 (10 people @ $25) to meet operations needs.
