Service is construction related for this trip. Three different food bank facilities are in need of updating. No special skills are needed but this project will enable these services to function at a higher level.Where You'll Stay
Housing is done at a local Philadelphia Church. You will sleep on comfortable matresses or cots in a bunk style housing room. Most meals are prepared and served in the same location and private showers are available on site.Typical Schedule
Each day will be spent on a construction project related to the Philadelphia Food Bank and low-income housing projects. Projects can include painting, building of shelves, tile work, or flooring. No special skills are required. There will also be time to visit local landmarks.
