Visit Jamaica to see how Amoveo Group's work impacts the deaf community there.How You'll Serve
This trip is about catching a vision of how you can serve and impact with Amoveo's partner in Jamaica, the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf. You will meet our partners, leaders from Jamaica, and those who have been impacted by the work being done. Together, we will determine, practically and logistically, how you and/or your organization can benefit the work through trips, donations, and any other ways.
Where You'll Stay
We have a secure compound with comfortable housing and meals. Rooms with shared bathrooms and full-size beds are standard. Meals are served in the cafeteria on campus.
Typical Schedule
Day 1 - Fly into Montego Bay and travel to the Jamaica Deaf Village (JDF) in Mandeville.
Day 2 - Visit the JDF campus and Knockpatrick campus
Day 3 - Travel to Kingston to visit the campus and social enterprise Deaf Can! Coffee. Then, travel back to Montego Bay.
Day 4 - Fly out of Montego Bay
