Amoveo work in the Dominican Republic is lead by Radhames Junior Quezada who runs our community partner Pimentel Internacional. They're focused on developing the next generation of leaders by creating supportive spaces where people can grow spiritually, academically, and personally. Ultimately, the goal is to empower individuals to contribute positively to their communities and the nation.

How You'll Serve

We desire to utilize our teams' skills and passions in the best way possible to help with our vision and mission. Teams are often involved in the following:

Spiritual lessons in the form of Bible lessons or dramas
Sports clinics, competitions, or engaging games
Science projects or math manipulatives
Art projects with children of various ages
Maintenance and construction work such as painting and classroom or playground
construction.
massive and neighborhood events.
Dental or health work
Classroom teaching or special education training

Where You'll Stay

Teams are housed in a hotel with air conditioning and hot water. Number of participants per room may vary depending on availability.

Typical Schedule

sunday : Arrival at STI (Santiago International Airport,Dominican Republic.), orientation, dinner

monday-Friday : 8:00-3:00 work Projects, in this case we will renovate the storage room of our nonprofit school,(lunch on site, breakfast, and dinner at lodging facilities)

(Wednesday : tour on a chocolate factory, optional)

Saturday: Resort.

Sunday: Departure from Aeropuerto Internacional de Puerto Plata.
