Gap Year Pathfinder Opportunities

Oasis Boy's Home Santo Tomas

Oasis Boys Home in Santo Tomas, Mexico serves 20+ boys ages12 to 17. They offer education, rehabilitation, and vocational training in a home environment. A pathfinder experience here would involve living on the campus and interacting with the boys through the various programs to help them succeed.

Addiction Recovery

Ireland

Ireland has one of the highest percentages of drug and alcohol addictions in the world. A Pathfinder opportunity would give you chance to help in the recovery process. In addition, each week, a team delivers food to homeless addicts offering the opportunity to enter the program.

Community Youth Program

Ireland

There are a number of opportunities to serve at-risk youth in Dublin, Ireland. Ranging from helping at after-school community centers where you can help with homework or serve a meal, to being a camp counselor for summer getaways outside of the city.

Philadelphia Food Bank

Location:

Philadelphia Region

An internship with our network of food banks in Philadelphia would include food delivery, food distribution, organizing, and interacting with those in the community in need of food. You would be able to learn about food sustainability and how to help solve food problems in urban areas.

Thumbs Up for Education in Haiti

Haiti

Amoveo is in need of help to manage the Thumbs Up for Education program in Leogane, Haiti. This pathfinder experience gives the opportunity to interact with families in helping them pursue education for their children. You will be working directly with our director and be based at our team center.
